Job description

Desired Skills and Experience:

5+ years experience in Ruby.
Working knowledge of JavaScript
Proficient in Ruby on Rails
Experience designing and building RESTful API services
Knowledge of working with DBMS like PostgreSQL
Have experience with testing frameworks like RSpec or Minitest
Experience in using Kubernetes
Exposure to Agile, Continuous Integration, TDD is a plus
Experience mentoring juniors.

Good to have:

Knowledge on microservices architecture
Nodejs experience
A keen eye for UX/UI
An understanding of Privacy implications under GDPR

Responsibilities:

Writing and testing effective, scalable code
Developing back-end components and APIs
Test and debug programs
Improve scalability and functionality of existing systems
Mentor and assist junior developers.
